In our community, there are children, youth, and parents who are quietly struggling with emotional pressure, sadness, and feelings of being lost in life. Many do not have strong support systems at home, and this affects their mental and emotional well-being in daily life. If this is not addressed, these struggles can continue to grow, leaving individuals feeling isolated and without a safe place to process what they are going through. Children and youth in particular may carry emotional burdens without guidance or healthy ways to express themselves. To respond to this, our church wants to expand its use of music as a tool for emotional care and healing. We've been able to put 30 children through the program. And with this Cause, we want to expand it to 15 more children as well as update our damaged and aging equipment we have made do with our first 30 youth. Through music learning, group practice, and shared worship experiences, we want to create a safe space where children, youth, and parents can express themselves, find encouragement, and begin to experience emotional restoration. Music will be used not only as a skill, but as a way to support mental well-being and strengthen connection within the church community.

How the church will sustain the Cause
Going forward, our church will continue developing this music ministry as an ongoing support system for emotional care and community connection. We will build on the existing group of children and youth already participating and gradually expand opportunities for more participants each year. We will strengthen local leadership within the church by equipping members who can guide music sessions, support participants, and maintain instruments so the program can continue without dependence on external support. Existing church resources will be used carefully and maintained to ensure long-term use. As participation grows, the church community will take shared responsibility for sustaining the program, including caring for instruments, supporting new learners, and helping organize activities. This will allow the ministry to remain stable and continuous, becoming a long-term place of healing, learning, and encouragement through music.
