Janeiris is a single mother to Yailin, one of our participants. They live in her grandmother's house, along with the grandmother's other son, his wife, and two other children. Janeiris is studying early childhood education at the state university. She dreams of finishing her degree and working in the field, but she's unemployed and needs to earn an income while continuing her studies. She wants to start her own nail business and has already researched the necessary training and materials. She plans to work in a space on her mother's patio to avoid rent, but she hasn't been able to start the training because she lacks the resources to pay for it.
With this funding, Janeiris will be able to take the training course and start her nail business, generating the income she needs to continue her studies. Her daughter will grow up with a mother who has stability and time for her.
Janeiris wants to support herself, finish her studies, build her own house, and provide for her daughter.
