In our community, there is a group of talented young footballers, especially Nong P, who dreams of becoming a professional footballer. Despite his family's poverty and lack of basic equipment—a hard dirt field, tight shoes, and old footballs—he continues to practice daily with unwavering dedication.
While many children lack opportunities or constructive activities, their free time can lead to drug abuse. Sports, particularly football, offer a crucial opportunity to help children set goals, develop discipline, improve their health, and stay away from drugs.
The “Fulfilling Footballer Dreams” project was established to address both the lack of sports equipment and the wasteful use of free time. We will raise funds to purchase standard football equipment such as new footballs, cones, vests, goals, and nets, so that youth aged 6-18, especially those from low-income families and areas at risk of drug abuse, can train properly and consistently with volunteer coaches.
We hope that this equipment will be a “tool to realize dreams” for the children in our community, helping them develop their football skills, build discipline and teamwork, and pave the way for a bright future, keeping them away from drugs and enabling them to become “good, outstanding, talented, and high-quality” athletes, just like the dreams of this young man.
Our vision is to see children and youth come to know and welcome Jesus Christ, cultivating spiritually mature lives that reflect His love. We aim to equip them with essential knowledge and skills, empowering them to support themselves and their families. Through strong moral values, they will be inspired to create positive change in society, becoming catalysts for transformation in their communities.
