Constructing an integrated crafts production centre is an activity that aims to find a place for those who have studied different professions to work and make use of the knowledge they have in different professions.
We plan to have one part of the centre dedicated to those who have knowledge and who will be applying what they have learned and another part will be made up of students (learners).
We came up with this idea after we saw that there are child development workers with knowledge and different skills, Youths who have been supported by the project to study and learn different vocational skills, as well as others who have learned these skills independently.
Currently, we have 22 youths in the project who Completed tailoring, out of this number 7 were supported by the church. These came together with the aim of forming a tailoring centre.
We also have 2 construction graduates and 10 others who are already doing it as a profession. We also have one parent who studied Mechanics. On the project we have a group of graduates who have learned to weave bags (tailoring) and all of them have not found a place to work.
Seeing all this the church wanted to start building a center for all these activities. Some rooms have been constructed but due to limited means, they are not yet complete. With this cause, the church has a plan to build a Centre for these activities, where locally made furniture such as chairs and tables can be made and stored.
Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, win souls and advocate for poor and vulnerable people in the society.
