Many families in the community face a shortage of clean water, especially during the dry season, leading to extra costs and lost time. This program aims to teach families and youth how to create and manage simple water systems, such as filters, rainwater collection, and water-saving methods. Through hands-on learning, participants will develop practical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The project will help reduce expenses, improve hygiene, ensure sustainable water access, and strengthen families and the community in the long term.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

Families will use this clean water system for daily consumption and to support their livelihoods, such as household farming or small-scale product processing. This will help them generate stable income, reduce daily expenses, and contribute to minor costs like system maintenance and filter replacement. If the water system or filters require repair, the church will assist families in finding local technicians or help establish a community revolving fund to support maintenance needs. As families become more stable and self-reliant, they can mentor and support others in the community to manage water resources in the same way. This approach will naturally expand the project’s impact and benefits, fostering sustainability without relying on long-term external support.
