WHY IT MATTERS

At the Church, caregivers' groups play a vital role in nurturing both community well-being and the development of essential skills that uplift caregivers and their families. These groups focus on initiatives like soap making and tailoring—skills that empower individuals, foster economic independence, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the community.

Currently, 53 caregivers are actively participating in these initiatives. Among them, 14 have honed their sewing skills, 10 are skilled in knitting, and 29 have been trained in soap making. These caregivers are dedicated and have shown remarkable potential to transform their lives and the lives of those they support.

However, to unlock the full impact of these efforts, additional resources are urgently needed. This includes materials for soap making and essential tailoring equipment, which are critical for improving productivity, enhancing product quality, and expanding the reach of these small enterprises.

Support through donations, partnerships, or funding will enable these caregivers to thrive, turning their skills into sustainable livelihoods. By investing in this initiative, we not only empower individuals but also strengthen the broader community. Through this cause, we will ensure that these caregivers achieve economic independence, fostering a ripple effect of growth and resilience.
