This project focuses on developing both life skills and vocational skills, aiming to empower children and families to utilize local resources, such as grass, to their fullest potential. Furthermore, it encourages children and families to use their free time productively through grass broom-making training, fostering continuous learning and skill development. The key outcome is strengthening household economic stability, particularly for disadvantaged families, those without jobs, or those without income. This enables them to use new skills to generate income, leading to a continuous income stream throughout the year and a sustainable improvement in their quality of life. It also creates a foundation for future generations to pass on vocational skills.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

The Grass Broom Handicraft Project is designed to create a significant impact through systematic and transparent financial management. By carefully tracking all income and expenses from the production and sale of broom products, the project ensures that funds are managed effectively. After deducting production costs, the net profit will be calculated and allocated efficiently, with a portion reinvested into subsequent production phases. This approach guarantees that the project can continually purchase necessary raw materials and equipment, thereby fostering long-term financial sustainability. Moreover, the fair distribution of the remaining net profit among participating families, children, and youth will serve as an incentive for quality production and ongoing involvement in the project. This equitable profit-sharing model not only motivates participants but also aims to generate supplementary income for all households in the collaborating community, ultimately enhancing their financial stability and quality of life. Through these sustainable practices, the project is poised to create lasting economic and social benefits for the community.
