The Amiguitos de Jesús Child Development Center (CDI) serves 207 children and adolescents, along with their parents and guardians, through various activities designed to have a holistic impact. These activities include providing snacks, breakfast, or lunch, depending on the activity, and teaching participants a trade. Currently, the CDI has a temporary kitchen used for its pastry-making training program. The room is made of corrugated metal, but the material causes it to heat up, which is tiring for both the volunteer cooks and the participants learning pastry. Sometimes, due to the heat, the pastry participants prefer to work outdoors. Therefore, the center plans to build a proper kitchen and classroom, constructed of concrete blocks, to better serve both participants and volunteers.
To be a creative, renewed, thriving, impactful, and transformative biblical church that lives according to the values of the Kingdom of God.
