Our project is for sewing and knitting, which will help improve the living conditions of 295 caregivers. We need to implement this project in order to address the issue of continued increases in prices and scarcity of good clothing in our district of Gisagara and the elsewhere in country.
To implement this project, we will need to increase the number of sewing and knitting machines. We will also need to improve on the training offered to caregivers, in order to improve their skills and knowledge on tailoring and knitting. We will also need to improve on our structure and make it suitable for wide and modern sewing and knitting activities.
As the area where we live is made up of rice paddy fields, as well as the rice industry, the clothes that the partners wear in their daily work tend to get old very quickly, so they are always in need of clothes. That is why we chose this project to help provide them with where they can buy clothing and sweaters to wear.
A Christ-centered, and a self-reliant diocese for holistic mission in the community.
