Maria is a young woman in our community who found in theater a way to overcome her shyness, discover her talents, and share messages of faith and hope. At first, she could barely speak in front of others; today, she participates enthusiastically in every performance. However, the lack of wireless microphones and appropriate costumes limits her performance and entire´s group: often their voices are not heard, and the stories lose some of their impact. That's why we created "Voices that Wear Hope," a cause to equip our theater group with wireless microphones and costumes. These resources will benefit children and young people who use art to grow, serve, and bring positive messages to the community. With each donation, we can acquire sound equipment and create costumes for our plays. In this way, more talented individuals will have the opportunity to take the stage, be heard, and transform lives through theater.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.
We’re speedy. Funds reach churches in about a week enabling immediate impact once a cause is fully funded.
Get ready! You’ll receive updates and photos from the church about the cause as they progress.
We will provide the rehearsal facilities, the stage, and the preparation areas. Scripts and existing props.
We will contribute time, volunteer work, rehearsals, logistics, promotion, and care of the equipment and clothing.
$2,500
Our church will ensure the continuity of this cause by incorporating equipment maintenance and costume renewal into its annual budget. It will also create a small internal fund through congregational offerings, activities organized by the theater group, and special performances. A dedicated team will manage the inventory, control resource loans, and perform cleaning, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Microphones will be stored in secure cases, and costumes will be cataloged, cared for, adapted, and reused in future productions. Furthermore, we will train young people and volunteers in the proper use of sound equipment, sewing, and the conservation of materials. In this way, the initial investment will have a long lifespan, and the church will be able to sustain the project with its own resources.
