Water for a Church Plant
About the Cause
Our church is thriving and has had the opportunity to start a church plant in a neighboring community that we are so excited about! Recently we have recognized a significant challenge for the wellbeing of the people in the community of the church plant though. The church plant location only receives water about every 10 days. To prevent the church from using too much of the community’s water resources, we want to build a well at the new church.
Creating an entire water well system at the church is a long process and will likely take 4-5 months. Thankfully though, we know the wait will be worth it because the church will then have consistent access to clean and safe water! This will help the church plant become a safe and comforting place in the community as families will know they can rely on the church for water even when it is lacking in the community. We pray that this church plant can be a blessing to their community, and welcome you to join us in supporting this new church! If you are able to support this cause, we will look forward to sharing some photos with you once the new water system is installed at the church plant!
Updates
Soon a new source of water for our people.
Thank God we have started drilling the new well for our church. It is currently 50 rods deep, however a fairly hard material (stone) has emerged, which has caused the progress of the work to be quite slow. We trust in God that the water is found at approximately 60 rods. Soon we will have constant access to the vital liquid thanks to your collaboration. Thank you God bless you!
