I am volunteering with a team of Compassion Advocacy Partners to raise funds to create a vocational training center in Burkina Faso that will empower young people in Compassion's program to gain skills and generate income. This will not only improve their current living conditions but will be a tool to help release them from poverty in Jesus' name and break the chains of generational poverty that have bound them. What we're raising money for

Our cause is the creation of a vocational training center for tailoring. Young people and their families living in the community are the people most concerned. They need this cause because it will allow them to improve the living conditions of the families of the center's beneficiaries. We will implement this cause by providing young people with equipment (sewing machines) and adequate skills. Currently, some families of CDEJ beneficiaries live in precarious situations and need support. Learners will be able to take charge of themselves and support their families by setting up their own businesses.
